35 years ago, Topher's father Paul T. Kay established a painting business in Denver.
Soon thereafter, Topher cut his teeth learning to renovate and paint houses as he assisted Paul on countless projects. Many of these homes were the grand Victorians for which Denver's Capitol Hill neighborhood is so well known. Paul taught Topher to always use the utmost attention to detail and provide customers with professional, consistent, quality work. After moving to Vermont and pursuing an environmental science career, renovating numerous homes and pursuing a hobby of fine arts, Topher decided to return to providing painting and light carpentry services. Topher's son Burke, a creative artist in his own right, joined his father in the painting tradition four years ago. They continue to offer clients with the highest quality of interior and exterior painting and surface preparations, maintaining late grandpa Paul's standards that earned him the moniker "House Painter Extraordinaire".
